I am curios.

You too?

If yes, let's talk.

What I bring to my projects and clients is 20+ years of professional and leadership experience. This experience is highly international and spans a wide range of sectors from public broadcasting to strategy consulting, media, technology, professional services, and even artificial intelligence.

My profile and experience is diverse, colorful, and multi-dimensional. I believe the reason and driver for this is that I have always been curious.

In the late 1990s, when I was studying liberal arts, I launched a small communication agency together with a friend of mine. In 2000, I started a career as a radio and TV journalist, reporting from Berlin or Brussels as well as from Rwanda and many other places in the world.

For a few weeks, I even wrote for the Muslim community newspaper of Cape Town—despite being a Roman Catholic from Germany myself.

In the 2000s, I quickly climbed the ranks at Deutsche Welle, Germany’s international broadcaster, to the point where I led the most disruptive organizational change project in the history of the organization—a project that laid a new foundation for the journalistic work of 1,000+ journalists from 70+ countries.

At Deutsche Welle, I learned to lead; however, I also felt I needed a broader foundation for myself.

The INSEAD MBA program provided me with this foundation, but it did so much more than that—it was a truly transformational experience.

Out of INSEAD, I joined Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where my MBA and my media and leadership experience came together in a new role.

However, after a while, I was not able to resist a truly exceptional opportunity.

ZATTOO, the pioneer of OTT TV in Europe, had set their mind on building “some sort of B2B business”. In the eight years that followed, I managed to develop this broad idea into a thriving multi-million euro enterprise SAAS business.

On the way, I met great colleagues and customers, I hired people with whom I had the honor of creating an outstanding team, and yes, at times I had to let people go.

Since 2017, I have served in non-executive roles, adding new perspectives for both me and my fellow board members.

On top of this, I have honed my coaching skills, having graduated from INSEAD’s Coaching Certificate Program in 2019.

I have worked with boards, I have served on boards, and I have coached business leaders as well as start-up CEOs.

Yet I am still curious.

Let’s find out how we can create value for you and your business!
